For parents and teachers

A short explanation of what this site is, how it handles accounts, and how it keeps your child's information private.

What this site teaches

All Cloud Academy teaches the fundamentals of today's technology: how computers and the internet work, how to stay safe online, what AI is and how to use it well, the basics of coding, what the cloud actually is, and how to make simple digital projects like a poster, a web page or a short video.

Every lesson is written in plain, everyday language. We explain new words the moment they come up, and we never assume your child already knows an answer.

How accounts work

A parent or guardian creates the account and makes any purchase. Your child then learns using that account. We do this on purpose: many online tools, including most AI chat tools, require a user to be 13 or older, and some require a parent's permission until 18. Keeping the account in a parent's name means your child is never asked to sign up for anything on their own.

What we collect

The free courses need no account and no information at all. To unlock a paid course, we ask for the parent's email address, used only to link the purchase to the account and to send a receipt. We do not ask a child for their name, age, photo or location anywhere on the site.

Pricing

Two courses are free. The paid courses are one-time purchases, not subscriptions, so you pay once and keep access. There is also a bundle that includes every paid course for one price.

A note about AI tools

Our AI Explained course teaches how AI works and how to think about it critically, including where it gets things wrong. It does not require signing up for any outside AI tool. Where an activity mentions trying an AI chat tool, the lesson says plainly that this needs a parent, since most of those tools have their own age rules.
